We believe that catering for funerals, wakes and memorials shouldn’t just be a beige spread, which is why we pride ourselves on catering with quality, style, and flavour at the forefront. At Savery Grazing, we can cater for 10-100+ guests in the Sheffield or Peak District area, with a professional and reliable service every time.

We understand that planning a funeral can be short notice, which is why we offer a range of set packages, which can be booked at short notice, and if needed, customised to suit any preferences or dietary requirements. Whether you opt for a few of our mix & match platters, or you’re looking for a larger grazing spread, you can trust us to deliver catering that is handled with professionalism and sensitivity.

Individual Platters

For intimate funeral services or those with a smaller budget, our individual grazing platters are a great choice. From sandwiches, to salads, bagels, cheese & charcuterie, sweet treats, or anything in between, mix & match our individual platters come in boxes on slide-out trays which can easily be displayed at the wake or memorial. If you’re looking for a larger spread, our styled grazing tables are the complete package. We don’t do boring beige buffets; each grazing table package comes with a mix of delicious handcrafted foods, as well as styling, foliage, plates, cutlery, napkins, and serving utensils. Our team will arrive at your chosen venue 1.5-2 hours beforehand to set up, and we’ll collect all of our equipment the next day.

The Classic Charcuterie

This is what we’re known for. Our classic charcuterie grazing table is made up of meats and a large selection of cheeses, finished with a brie wheel centrepiece, pastry twists, cornichons, pickled onions, nuts, fresh & dried fruits. Crackers and chutney come included. This is our most luxurious grazing table option.

The Posh Picnic

Our ‘posh picnic’ grazing table includes sandwiches or bagels of your choosing alongside seasonal salads, crudités and a selection of Italian canapes, as well as picnic nibbles like scotch eggs, pastry twists, quiche, and sausage rolls. This table is perfect if you’re looking for a more traditional spread.

The All-Day Brunch

Perfect for an early ceremony, our all-day brunch table includes a spread of seasonal fruit, freshly baked pastries, granola & yoghurt pots, as well as locally-sourced jam and honey, and an orange juice for each person.

We understand that the nature of funeral arrangements can often be last minute. Our team will do everything possible to accommodate your needs, even at short notice. Ideally, we recommend placing your order as soon as possible to ensure availability.

Yes, we can accommodate a variety of dietary needs, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and more. Please let us know any dietary requirements when placing your order so we can tailor our menu to your needs.

Whilst our standard grazing table packages include setup and next-day equipment collection, we unfortunately don’t provide service staff to be present during your event.

Due to the informal nature of a funeral, wake, or memorial service, we’d recommend sticking to finger foods and canapes at a service, or for the get together afterwards. This allows people to nibble whilst standing and mingling with other guests. Serving finger foods also means you don’t have to lay out dining tables and chairs for everyone, which helps to save space.

The cost of funeral catering will depend on the quantity and type of food you are serving. If you’re looking for a few nibbles/canapes for each guest, with Savery Grazing, this would come to around £10 per person. However, if you’re wanting to serve bigger portion sizes, with a wider variety of food, complete with styling and buffet setup, you’ll likely pay around £18-19 per head, as per our grazing table prices.
